Meet Your Hosts!

We know that a lot of people want to book their vacation and be completely private without interruption, and that is how we set up this space so that you can have the privacy and time with your loved ones.

For those of you who want a little more engagement, this is for you!

A little background information about your hosts, Grace & Lucas:

We both grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, and ever so slowly inched our way closer and closer to the mountains.
Actually meeting for the first time in Calgary, we started going on adventures together every weekend in the mountains and soon learned that we were destined to live our lives amoungst the beautiful Canadian Rockies. So of course, we easily picked Golden to start our new journey in 2020 as first time home owners, acreage owners, and business owners!

We renovated and upgraded the entire property over the course of 2 years and hosting guests all around the world in the unique vacation rentals that we created. Credit for most of the hard work to the original German owners for building the cedar structures, and the previous owners to us, for building the Glamper Camper. Now you can probably see why we chose the path to build another unique structure we call, LSD, Luxury Serenity Dome. This was not an easy task that forced us majorly out of our comfort zone however, we are reminded with every happy guest who comes and goes that it was all worth it.

Although we are not on the property anymore, we are usually in the area either doing a mountain sport or at Ethos (best cafe in Golden) planning how we can make The Blaeberry Base the most ultimate place to spend your vacation.
